**Depoliticizing Schools is Crucial**
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of depoliticizing schools in Georgia. He stated that this was a major priority, especially after recent events.
Kobakhidze noted that over the years, patriotic education and awareness of one’s own national identity had been minimized in the national curriculum. This had serious consequences, but he assured that everything would be done to correct this issue.

The Prime Minister emphasized that it was crucial to depoliticize schools. He reminded that the previous government had a signature of politicizing education, and unfortunately, they continued to do so, which was absolutely unacceptable.
Kobakhidze also highlighted the importance of professional education in addition to school and higher education. He mentioned ambitious plans for development in these areas.
**Higher Education is Also Important**
The Prime Minister stressed that the development of higher education was equally crucial. He talked about a project related to the improvement of state university infrastructure in Tbilisi and Kutaisi, as well as enhancing teaching content.
Kobakhidze assured that after four years, there would be significant progress in terms of school education. The goal is to create a better environment for students and improve the quality of teaching.
