**Baltic States Take a Stand Against Georgia Crackdown**
The governments of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have agreed to take action against those who suppressed protests in Georgia. The three countries’ foreign ministers made the announcement on social media platform X.
According to the ministers, Gabrielius Landbergis from Lithuania, Baiba Braže from Latvia, and Margus Tsahkna from Estonia, “opponents of democracy” and human rights violators will face national sanctions. This means that people who played a role in cracking down on peaceful protests in Georgia will not be welcome in the Baltic states.
The move is seen as a strong stance against those who used force to silence protesters in Georgia.
