A Russian drone attack on the city of Ternopil in western Ukraine has resulted in a fire in a residential building and several casualties. The attack happened during the night of December 2.
Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal said that a drone struck the top floor of a high-rise building, causing flames to engulf several floors and partially damaging others. At least two people were killed and several others injured.
Emergency teams worked through the night to extinguish the fire and assist the injured. Temporary shelters were prepared for displaced residents.
