The President has reacted to Gabekhadze’s resignation. On her Facebook page, she wrote: “The first swallow appeared from the Ministry of Internal Affairs! This is an unmistakable sign of the collapse of the repressive apparatus!”
She added: “The state is you who, in all agencies and in whatever position you are, put your homeland above your personal career interest!”
