**Russia-Ukraine War: Latest Updates**
November 28, 2024 – The conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues with no signs of a resolution. Here are the latest updates from the General Staff of Ukraine as of November 27, 2024.
**Russian Invasion Update**
The Russian large-scale invasion of Ukraine has entered its 1,008th day. Over the past day, there were 224 combat clashes between Ukrainian forces and the invading Russian army.
**Enemy Attacks**
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using one missile on Ukrainian positions and settlements, as well as 45 air strikes. They also carried out over 4,000 attacks, including 142 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used around 1,300 kamikaze drones for strikes.
**Targeted Areas**
The aggressor carried out air strikes in various areas of Ukraine, including the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Luhansk regions. Ukrainian aviation, missile troops, and artillery launched nine strikes on enemy concentrations.
**Defensive Efforts**
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in several directions, including Kupyansk, Lymansk, Siversky, and Kurakhiv. The Defense Forces also stopped 59 assault actions by the aggressor in the Pokrovsky direction.
**Enemy Losses**
Over the past day, the Russian invaders suffered significant losses, with 1,580 soldiers killed or wounded. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 14 tanks, 48 armored combat vehicles, and 24 artillery systems, among other equipment.
