**Germany Unveils New AI-Powered Drone for Ukraine**
A German company called Helsing has introduced a new drone called the HX-2. This drone is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and will be used by Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Ukraine has been under attack from Russia, using drones to hit important targets. But Ukraine has also been increasing its own drone capabilities, launching attacks on Russian territory. The HX-2 drone is designed to target armored vehicles, artillery, and other military objects.
**Key Features of the HX-2 Drone**
The HX-2 drone has an X-shaped wing and tail design. It weighs 12 kg and can fly at speeds of up to 220 km per hour. The drone can carry a payload of several kilograms and has a range of up to 100 km.
**Swarm Capability**
The Helsing company says that multiple HX-2 drones can operate together, or “in a swarm”, to execute combat missions. This is made possible through the integration into their Altra control system. A single operator can manage several drones simultaneously using this system.
**Production and Delivery**
Helsing confirms that these drones are already in production and that the core technologies they employ are being used by Ukraine. Earlier reports suggested that Germany would deliver 4,000 AI-powered drones to Ukrainian forces.
