**Two Ukrainians Make BBC’s List of Most Influential Women**
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has announced its list of 100 women who inspired and influenced the world in 2024. Among them are two Ukrainians: farmer Olha Olefirenko and Olha Rudnieva, founder of the Superhumans trauma center.
**Ukrainian Trauma Center’s Founder Honored**
Olha Rudnieva founded the Superhumans center to help Ukrainian citizens injured in the war receive prosthetic and rehabilitation support. In its first two years, over 1,000 people have received services from the center. Rudnieva’s determination to assist those injured on the battlefield is an inspiration to many.
**Farmer Olha Olefirenko’s Story**
Olha Olefirenko made it onto the list after fulfilling a dream of her father, who was killed in action in 2015. She initially faced financial difficulties with her farm but continued to pursue her late father’s aspirations. With help from the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, she successfully relaunched her farm and became an inspiration for her leadership and initiative.
**Other Notable Women on the List**
This year’s list includes Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad, activist Gisèle Pelico, actress Sharon Stone, Olympic athletes Rebecca Andrade and Allyson Felix, singer Rey, artist Tracy Emin, climate campaigner Adenike Oladosu, and writer Cristina Rivera Garza.
