**Czech Foreign Minister Supports Georgian Ambassador**
The Czech Foreign Minister, Jan Lipavský, expressed his support for the Georgian ambassador to the Czech Republic who resigned yesterday. The ambassador, Tea Maisuradze, had served in her position for almost two decades.
Lipavský said that he spoke with Maisuradze a few hours before making his statement. He was concerned about Georgia moving away from its European path and wanted to show support for Georgians‘ desire for a European future. Lipavský also condemned any violence against demonstrators, which is currently happening in Georgia.
