**MEP Reacts to Arrests in Georgia**
Rasa Juknevičienė, a member of the European Parliament, has spoken out against the recent arrests in Georgia. She compared the country’s former prime minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili, to the presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
**”Bidzina = Lukashenko and Putin”**
Juknevičienė wrote on social media: “Bidzina = Lukashenco and Putin.” She added: “Georgia will never be Russia!”
**Arrests in Georgia**
The police have been searching apartments and offices of activists and political parties. The offices of three parties, “Unity of the National Movement”, “Coalition for Change” and “Droa”, were searched. An apartment belonging to Ilia Ghlonti, one of the founders of “Droa”, was also searched.
**Two Arrests**
At the office of “Droa”, two people were arrested: Nika Gvaramia, leader of “Coalition for Change”, and member of the coalition Gela Khasaya. A member of the “Dafioni” movement, Zviad Tsetskhladze, was also arrested.
