Opposition Parties Meet in Tbilisi
Leaders of four opposition parties met today at a hotel in the center of Tbilisi. The meeting was led by Nika Melia, who represents the “Coalition for Change”.
According to Mr. Melia, this meeting will make some important decisions. These decisions will depend on how well the different groups coordinate with each other. He said that many people are joining their movement and that new decisions must be made as a result.
The main goal of these opposition parties is to replace the current government led by Ivanishvili with a democratic one. Mr. Melia said that they have a responsibility to make progress towards this goal, even if it’s just for a short time.
What happens at the meeting will be shared with the public soon. A representative from the “Strong Georgia” party, Grigol Gegelia, said that the opposition plan and call of action will be known after the meeting is over.
