Despite significant pro-Russian sentiment in the country, Sofia has quietly shipped arms to Ukraine over the past year. The largest donation publicly announced was 100 older armored vehicles.
**NATO’s Support for Ukraine**
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on December 4 that NATO countries will do all they can to provide Ukraine with air defenses necessary to protect its infrastructure. **Belarus and Russia Plan Training Centers**

**Ukraine and the EU**
On December 4, Ukraine’s Finance Ministry and the EU signed a memorandum and an agreement to attract up to €35 billion in funding as part of the G7 loan. This support will help Ukraine recover from the devastating effects of the war.
