**Ukraine Needs Air Defense Systems**
Foreign Minister Sybiha says Ukraine needs more air defense systems. These systems would help protect Ukraine from Russia‘s attacks with advanced missiles.
The minister said that Ukraine urgently needs at least 20 more air defense systems like HAWK, NASAMS, and IRIS-T. These systems are very effective against ballistic and cruise missiles.
Ukraine is a vulnerable country due to the ongoing war with Russia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked for help from other countries to protect Ukraine’s airspace.
Some countries have already promised to send air defense systems to Ukraine. Germany said it would give two IRIS-T systems by the end of 2024. The Netherlands also provided three Patriot launch units in November.
The President confirmed that more air defense systems will arrive in December and January. This is good news for Ukraine, which needs all the help it can get.
