**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: December 2, 2024**
The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues into its 1,013th day. Here are the latest updates from the General Staff of Ukraine:
**Russian Attacks Widespread**
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces recorded 165 combat clashes with Russian troops. The enemy launched 18 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 25 KABs (kiloton aerial bombs) and using 1,635 kamikaze drones. They also carried out 5,079 attacks, including 145 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
**Specific Attacks**
Russian forces attacked the following areas:
* Siversk, Petrivka, Kostyantynivka, Panteleimonivka, Yelizavetivka, Grodivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novopustinka, and Ulakly in various directions.
* Kharkiv direction: 10 attacks on Starytsia, Tykhye, Vovchansk, and Kozacha Lopan.
* Kupyansky direction: 9 attacks near Lozova, Kruglyakivka, Hlushkivka, and Zeleny Gay.
* Lyman direction: 8 attacks near Druzhelyubivka, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, Terni, and Torske.
* Kramatorsk direction: 3 clashes in Chasiv Yar.
* Toretsk direction: 8 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
* Pokrovsk direction: 33 attacks repelled by Ukrainian forces in Myrolyubivka, Promen, Lysivka, Dachensky, Zhovty, and Chumatsky.
* Kurakhiv direction: 48 attacks repelled near Berestki, Sontsivka, Zori, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhiv, Dalnye, Yelizavetivka, and Hannivka.
* Vremiv direction: 24 attacks on Ukrainian units in Konstantinopolske, Trudove, Velyka Novoselka, Novoselka, Novy Komar, and Novodarivka.
**Losses**
Ukrainian forces destroyed:
* 9 tanks
* 28 armored combat vehicles
* 30 artillery systems
* 83 operational-tactical UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
* 99 vehicles
Russian losses over the past day: approximately 1,790 soldiers. Estimated total enemy losses from February 24, 2022 to December 2, 2024:
