**Netherlands Asks EU to Suspend Visa–Free Travel with Georgia**
The Netherlands has called on the European Union to stop allowing people from Georgia to travel without visas. This is because of recent violence against protesters and journalists in Georgia.
Georgian politicians have also been arrested, which the Dutch government finds unacceptable. The Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, made this announcement on social media.
He said it’s good that some Baltic states have already banned individual entry from Georgia.
