**Russia’s Move in Georgia**
The “Coalition for Change” has reported that Russia is trying to formalize Georgia as its own part before the inauguration of a new president in the USA. This means they want to put Georgia in their control.
According to Zurab Japaridze, a leader of the coalition, this is happening because Russia wants to sign Georgia off as its own part before negotiations on other issues begin. He said that Russia’s goal is to take control of Georgia and have talks with other countries only about Ukraine, China, Iran, etc.
**Protest Continues**
Zaparidze stated that the protest in Rustaveli must continue, no matter what. He said that people are worried because there aren’t as many protesters each day as there were at first. However, he reminded everyone that all protests have cycles and that the main goal is to prevent Georgia from being recognized as part of Russia.
He also emphasized that the protest should not be limited to one form or place. People who risked their freedom, lives, and well-being are counting on those who stayed out to continue the fight.
**No Compromise**
Zaparidze made it clear that there’s no compromise when dealing with a regime that uses terror. He said that things will only get worse until they win.
