Residents in Kerch reported hearing explosions and feeling windows tremble early on December 6. A local monitoring channel, Krymsky Veter, said that residents saw a visible glow in the Arshyntseve neighborhood.
**Drone Activity Reported**
Ukrainian maritime drones were spotted in the Kerch strait around 7 a.m. Russian forces attempted to counter them from sea, land, and air.
**Traffic Restored on Bridge**
The bridge was closed to traffic at 4:17 a.m., but was later reopened at 9:22 a.m.
**Russian Ministry Reports Drone Shootdowns**
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that it shot down one aerial drone over occupied Crimea. It also said that two Ukrainian unmanned boats were destroyed heading towards the Crimean Peninsula.
The ministry reported intercepting 30 Ukrainian drones across several regions of Russia. Later, it claimed to have destroyed seven unmanned surface vehicles in the Black Sea.
