**Estonian Foreign Minister Criticizes Georgian Government**
The government of Georgia is not telling the truth, says Estonia’s foreign minister. Margus Tsahkna made these comments in an interview with CNN.
Tsahkna said that it was clear a few months ago that the ruling party “Georgian Dream” was not honest. He added that what Georgian people are seeing now after the elections is not what they want. The use of violence against protesters is also unacceptable, according to Tsahkna.
As a member of the European Union (EU), Estonia has already raised these concerns and will bring them up again at the next EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
**Georgian President Supported by Estonian Minister**
Tsahkna said that Georgian President is a legitimate leader who is supported by the people. He added that allegations about some political movements being behind the mass demonstrations are not true. The minister stated that 80% of Georgians support the path to joining the EU.
Tsahkna accused the Prime Minister and leaders of “Georgian Dream” of lying to both the EU and the Georgian people for a long time. This, he said, is why we see such reactions today.
