The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has taken to social media to express her outrage at the current situation in the country. In a series of posts, she has condemned the regime’s actions as “terror” and called for immediate action from the authorities.
**Attack on Media Crew Condemned**
The President specifically mentioned the attack on a film crew working for TV Pirveli, calling it an act of “terror”. She noted that the regime is no longer hiding its true face, even on live broadcasts. The violence against media and journalists who are simply doing their job is “unbelievable” and “growing”, she wrote.
**Russian Regime Accused**
In another post, President Zurabishvili accused the Russian regime of being involved in terrorizing civilians in Tbilisi. She noted that they were targeting kidnapped politicians, media, artists, and opposition offices. The President called for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take immediate action against this brutality.
**Call for Action**
The President also appealed to the authorities to take action against the perpetrators of these acts of violence. She specifically called on the police and responsible authorities to respond to the situation and bring those responsible to justice.
