**European Union Speaks Out Against Violence in Georgia**
The European Union has strongly condemned the violence and cruelty seen in Georgia’s streets. Ambassador Paweł Herczyński, representing the EU in Georgia, spoke out against the unacceptable situation.
He said: “We see the people in the streets, we hear their voices, and we are shocked by the violence. This is absolutely unacceptable.” The ambassador emphasized that the EU supports the Georgian people’s desire for a better future and membership in the European Union.
**EU to Discuss Georgia at Upcoming Meetings**
Ambassador Herczyński revealed that the situation in Georgia will be discussed at two upcoming meetings of European Union leaders. On December 16, EU foreign ministers will meet to discuss the issue, and next week’s meeting will bring together heads of state and government from across Europe.
The ambassador emphasized: “People may have different opinions, but violence and cruelty are absolutely unacceptable.” He noted that many in the EU believe it is time for action and consequences. The High Representative of the European Union, Kaja Kallas, has already stated that there will be consequences for the situation in Georgia.
**Next Week’s Meetings to Bring Results**
The ambassador expressed hope that next week’s meetings will lead to concrete actions and results. He said: “Let’s see what happens next week. I think most of us in EU capitals and institutions have reached a stage where we have to act.”
