**PM Says “War Party” Has Exhausted Resources**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that the opposition’s radical forces have run out of resources to cause harm. He made this statement at a government meeting.
According to Kobakhidze, these radical forces staged a small imitation of war on Rustaveli Avenue. This was after a violent rally four days earlier. The opposition had enough money and support to make things worse, but the police were able to stop them in just five days.
**Police Praised for Their Work**
Kobakhidze praised the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri for their work during this time. He said that they acted at a higher standard than police forces in America and Europe. The government was able to prevent an “Maidan” type situation from happening.
**Violent Incidents Still Happened**
Despite the success of the police, there were still some violent incidents. Someone attacked the parliament building, and there was an attempt to set it on fire. However, these actions did not cause significant damage.
**Protests Without a Purpose**
Now, the protests on Rustaveli Avenue are mostly empty. Only about 4 parties and over 10 rich NGOs are participating, but they can’t even gather 5,000 people together. The protesters are no longer making demands or asking for anything specific. They are only asking for the release of those who were involved in the violence.
