The main focus of Russia’s efforts is on capturing the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast. This city serves as a crucial logistics and transport hub for Ukraine’s eastern front. Russian forces are also trying to drive Ukrainian troops out of Kursk Oblast, which is part of Russia.

Over the past few days, Russian forces have advanced near multiple settlements in Donetsk Oblast, including Novoolenivka, Voznesenka, Hrodivka, Vidrodzhennia, Petrivka, Sontsivka, Novotroitske, and Shevchenko villages. They have also made gains near Plekhovo in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
**Invasion into Ukraine**
Russian forces have entered Sumy Oblast territory, where they have captured at least 1 kilometer of land near the village of Oleksandria. This is close to the border with Kursk Oblast in Russia.
