**Former Minister Criticizes Georgian Dream**
Businessman Giorgi Chkheidze, a former Deputy Minister of Agriculture, has written a letter criticizing the government and its leader Bidzina Ivanishvili.
In the letter, published on December 10, Chkheidze said that halting Georgia’s EU accession was “national treason”. He condemned Ivanishvili for centralizing power and undermining democratic institutions.
Chkheidze accused Ivanishvili of creating an authoritarian regime by subordinating the judiciary, eliminating political competition, and fostering a climate of fear among citizens. He blamed Ivanishvili for betraying the trust of Georgian citizens and jeopardizing the country‘s development and security.
