**Russia Detains Russian-German Citizen Over Alleged Sabotage Plot**
Russian authorities have detained a Russian-German citizen on suspicion of planning to sabotage railways. The detainee was born in 2003 and was found with a homemade explosive device and communication equipment that allegedly contained messages with a Ukrainian intelligence representative.
According to the FSB, the man was part of a group with “radical neo-Nazi ideology” and planned the sabotage for a monetary reward. However, Russia often falsely accuses its rivals of being neo-Nazis.
The German Foreign Ministry has sought consular access to the detainee but Russian authorities have refused, viewing him as a Russian citizen only.
This is not the first time a German citizen has been accused of planning terrorist attacks in Russia. Earlier this month, Nikolai Gaiduk was detained on suspicion of planning attacks on energy infrastructure in the Kaliningrad region.
