**Parliament Approves 2025 State Budget**
The Parliament has approved the state budget for 2025. The budget was adopted unanimously with 88 votes.
**Economic Growth Planned**
The 2025 budget is based on economic growth projections of 6% and a medium-term forecast of 5.2%. Inflation is expected to be around 1% this year, lower than the target rate, but back in line next year.
**Increased Allocations**
Compared to last year’s budget proposal, state allocations have increased by 895 million GEL, bringing the total to 27.9 billion GEL.
**Ministry Funding**
Several ministries have received significant funding increases:
* Ministry of IDPs from occupied territories: up 990.9 million GEL to 8.82 billion GEL
* Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Protection: up 990.9 million GEL to 8.82 billion GEL
* Ministry of Education, Science and Youth: up 577 million GEL to 3.085 billion GEL
**Other Key Funding**
* Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture: 808.1 million GEL
* Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development: 947 million GEL (up 146 million from last year)
* Ministry of Defense: 1.73 billion GEL (up 350 million from last year)
