**Georgian Government Plans New Regulations**

**Why Are These Rules Needed?**
According to Shalva Papuashvili, the chairman of parliament, these rules are necessary because people have been hiding their faces during demonstrations in the past. This made it hard for police and others to know who they were dealing with.
In many European countries, wearing a face mask or other disguise is not allowed during public gatherings. The Georgian government wants to follow similar rules.
**Pyrotechnics Will Also Be Regulated**
The government also plans to make new rules about fireworks and other pyrotechnics. This has been talked about for several years now. Some people have been worried about the noise and mess that fireworks can cause, especially around animals and birds.
Papuashvili said that the current events have shown how important it is to take action on these issues. The parliament will make a decision about these new rules this week.
