US Concerned About Georgia’s Government Changes
The US is worried about changes in the government of Georgia. This was said by Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the State Department.
The US will use all its tools to address this issue. These tools include new sanctions against certain individuals or groups. However, Miller did not say who exactly would be affected.
According to Miller, the US is working on new measures to hold Georgian officials accountable for their actions. He referred to a statement made by the Secretary of State last week. The secretary said that the US will use all its power to make Georgia pay for its mistakes.
Miller emphasized that the US will do everything in its power to address this situation. But he also said that it’s too early to talk about specific sanctions or who would be affected. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
