**Czech President Supports Georgian People**
The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, has spoken out in support of the people of Georgia. He did this on a social network.
Pavel met with the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. He said that violence against protesters, journalists, and opposition politicians is not acceptable. He praised the Georgian people for wanting to join Europe and for being brave enough to keep this dream alive.
The President of Georgia thanked her Czech colleague for her support. She said it was for all Georgians and their desire for a European future.
