**Georgia’s Presidential Election Called Illegitimate**
The party “Gakharia for Georgia” has made a statement saying that the presidential elections scheduled for December 14 are not legitimate. They claim that these elections are being held outside of the country’s constitution and do not follow constitutional principles.
According to the party, one-party elections go against the rules of a parliamentary republic where the president should be elected through broad political consensus. They say that the current election process is unfair and does not give the people the right to choose freely.
The party “Gakharia for Georgia” has stated that they will not take part in these elections and do not recognize the decisions made by the current, illegitimate parliament and its president.
**Two Conditions Needed**
To get out of this severe systemic crisis, the party says two main conditions must be met. First, all people who were arrested during protests and held hostage by the government should be released immediately and unconditionally. Second, new elections should be held with a balanced election administration and neutral state structures.
