**Woman Attacked in Bolnisi, Georgia**

A woman who works at a public school in Bolnisi has been attacked by an unknown person. The attacker injured her face with a razor blade.

The victim, Piqria Epitashvili, is okay after receiving medical help. An investigation has been started into the incident.

Epitashvili posted on Facebook about what happened. She said that she’s fine and thanked people for supporting her. She also wrote that she’s not afraid of the attack, but rather of waking up in Russia.

**What Happened**

According to a friend, Nata Tsnobiladze, Epitashvili was attacked because of her civic position. Epitashvili is active in protest rallies and writes about them on social media.

The attacker was a man dressed in black who approached Epitashvili from behind. He put a gun to her face and shouted at her to go to Europe with agents like her. There were no other people around, and Epitashvili didn’t hear the attacker coming.

Epitashvili tried to take the gun away and jumped when she saw what was happening. She fell down and the attacker ran away.

Epitashvili also corrected a rumor that was spread on social media. She said that she is not a teacher, but rather the information manager at her school.
