**Estonia’s Parliament Chairman Speaks Out**
Marko Michelson, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in Estonia’s parliament, has written a strong statement on his social media page. He says that Western countries should not recognize the election of Georgia’s new president.

Michelson wants Western countries to announce their position on this matter before Saturday’s planned vote. He thinks it would be best if they said they do not recognize the election of a new president by Georgia’s illegitimate parliament.
To solve this crisis, Michelson suggests holding new general elections that are free and fair. This is the only way, in his opinion, to resolve the constitutional crisis and elect a new president for Georgia.
