Rustaveli Avenue in the city of Tbilisi is blocked. Citizens gathered in front of the parliament building to show their discontent.

**People from Different Industries Join the Protest**
A group of people from the IT, HR, training, finance, marketing, PR, and creative industries marched towards Rustaveli Avenue. They were carrying flags of Georgia and the European Union. The protesters are chanting slogans, including “Georgia” and “Strike”.
**What’s Behind the Protests?**
The large-scale protests started on November 28 in response to a decision made by the government party “Georgian Dream”. They announced that they would not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028.
