**16th Day of Protest on Rustaveli Avenue**
People have been protesting against the government‘s decision for 16 days. Today, groups from different fields came to the Parliament and marched to Rustaveli Avenue.
Protesters gathered in many places around Tbilisi today. They blocked roads and held actions in different locations. For example, IT people, lawyers, musicians, and others showed their opposition.
Rustaveli Avenue is currently closed due to the protest. This comes after a big decision was made by “Georgian Dream” on November 28. The government said that Georgia will not try to join the European Union until 2028.
