**Norway Continues to Support Ukraine‘s Defense**
Norway will keep training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets. The country is also moving its training base from Denmark to Portugal.
This decision was made by Norway’s Defense Minister, Bjørn Arild Gram. He said that supporting Ukraine’s defense is important for both Norway and Europe‘s security.
The training program started in 2023. In 2025, Portugal will host the initiative. Other countries like Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Poland, and Sweden are also part of a coalition to support Ukraine’s air force.

In addition to military instructors, Norwegian companies will provide technical support for Ukrainian pilots. This is all part of a broader effort to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently announced that Denmark delivered more F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. These planes will help boost Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
**Russia’s War Efforts**
Russia’s focus on the war in Ukraine has reduced its ability to support other areas, like Syria. This means Russia risks losing key military assets in these regions.
In other news, Ukrainian forces are doing well in certain sectors, like Kupiansk. However, there is a growing risk of Ukrainian units being surrounded by Russian forces in this area.
