Citizens Gather in Front of Parliament Building
On Rustaveli Avenue, near the Georgian Parliament, a group called March of Mothers joined protesters. The crowd cheered as they arrived.
The March of Mothers came from the Rustaveli Metro area and marched along Rustaveli Avenue. They carried banners with a message saying “Let go of my child.” Some people also had flags from Georgia and the European Union.
These citizens are protesting the presidential elections in Parliament. They claim this election process is not fair.
The protesters brought diplomas and balls, too. The marchers said they were against the ongoing election process.
