New President Elected in Georgia
Mikheil Kavelashvili has been chosen as the new president of Georgia. He was elected by an electoral college formed in Parliament.
A member of the “Georgian Dream” party, David Matikashvili, praised the new president’s qualities. He said Mikheil Kavelashvili would be remembered for his positive and patriotic actions.
