**Russia Loses 761,160 Troops in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a huge number of troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. According to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Russia has suffered 761,160 casualties.
This includes 1,040 casualties just over the past day. Russia has also lost many military vehicles and equipment, including:
* 9,539 tanks
* 19,675 armored fighting vehicles
* 31,217 vehicles and fuel tanks
* 21,102 artillery systems
* 1,253 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,023 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 329 helicopters
* 20,229 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
**Ukraine Criticizes FIFA**
Ukraine has criticized the international football association, FIFA, for an “unacceptable error” after a map displayed during the 2026 World Cup draw appeared to exclude Crimea from Ukraine’s territory.
**Russian Gas Supplier in Serbia Criticized**
The Petroleum Industry of Serbia, primarily owned by Russia’s Gazprom Neft and its parent company Gazprom, is Serbia’s exclusive gas supplier. However, this has led to criticism as Serbia relies heavily on Russian gas imports.
**Friendly Fire Incident Kills 8 Chechen Soldiers**
North Korean soldiers allegedly killed eight members of the Chechen Akhmat unit in a “friendly fire” incident. Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has classified the incident as a terrorist attack and detained a suspect.

Ukrainian authorities are ready to help Syria prevent a food crisis by organizing food deliveries with international organizations and partners willing to help.
**North Korean Units Suffer Heavy Losses**
President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that North Korean units have sustained “noticeable losses” alongside Russian troops in Kursk Oblast.
**Theater Actor Killed in Action**
Yakiv Tkachenko, a theater and film actor from Dnipro, was killed in action while serving on the front line with Ukraine’s 128th Territorial Defense Brigade.
