President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, is concerned about the situation in the country. She claims that terror and arbitrary arrests are still happening.
In a post on social media platform X, she mentioned the arrest of Niko Managadze, a leader of the student movement “students for freedom”. He was taken into custody on administrative charges last night. His lawyer says he was accompanied by another person at the time of the arrest and both were detained.
Both men have been sent to an isolation facility in Digomi. President Zourabichvili’s statement suggests that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a continuation of previous events.
