Protesters March to Parliament Building in Tbilisi

A march has started from Republic Square towards the Parliament building. The protesters are internally displaced persons from . They have blocked a part of the road.

Before the march, the participants sang the national anthem of Georgia. They chanted slogans such as “Georgia”, “Abkhazia is Georgia”, and “No to Russia”.

Protesters carried banners with messages like “Gali is here”, “Sukhumi is here”, “Gagra is here”, “Call new “, and more. One protester said, “This government is illegitimate and must go.”

The marcher continued, “I am a displaced person from Abkhazia. We have been waiting for a dignified return to Abkhazia for over years. When the government tells us that we must apologize to the separatists, from that day on, we consider that government to be illegitimate.”
