**Ukraine Produces Almost 100 Peklo Missile-Drones**
Almost 100 new Peklo missile-drone hybrids have been produced in Ukraine, the country’s resilience plan reported. The Peklo is a long-range drone with a range of 700 kilometers and a speed of 700 km/h.
The production of the Peklo comes as part of Ukraine’s efforts to ramp up production of long-range drones and missiles. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine aims to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones next year.
**Key Features of the Peklo**
The Peklo is a mix of drone and missile capabilities. It has a jet engine and an advanced guidance system. The system has already been successfully deployed by Ukrainian officials.
**Challenges in Production**
Despite the success, the production of the Peklo faces challenges. 70% of its components are produced in Ukraine, but importing the rest from other countries is a serious bottleneck. However, the interchangeability of elements helps to bridge this gap.
**Importance of Long-Range Domestic Weapons**
Long-range domestic weapons are critical to Ukraine’s defense strategy. They provide an alternative to Western arms and help compensate for the lack of artillery ammunition on the battlefield.
