**Protests Continue in Tbilisi**
People have been blocking a main road in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. This is the 20th day of protests. Citizens are demanding that the government hold early elections and release people who were arrested during the demonstrations.
**More People Join the Protest**
Today, people from different groups joined the protest march. They came from all over the city to show their support. The hospitality sector, including hotel owners and workers, participated in the march. Also, people who studied or want to study in Western countries joined the protest under a slogan that reads “Towards Europe through Western Education.”
**Universities Support the Protest**
Students, professors, and historians from two major universities in Tbilisi – Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University – participated in the march. They showed their support for the protesters’ demands.
**Government’s Decision Under Fire**
The protests are against a decision made by the Georgian government on November 28. The government announced that they will not ask to start negotiations with the European Union until 2028. Protesters want early elections and the release of those arrested during the demonstrations. Their demands remain unchanged.
