Georgia’s third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, has made a strong statement against the current government. He appeared remotely in court from his clinic and described the situation as a “truly nationwide revolution.”
Saakashvili warned that the ruling power is ruthless and will not leave office easily. He mentioned that the European Union had imposed sanctions on Georgia’s government, which he saw as a positive step forward.
