**Norway to Strengthen Ukrainian Navy**
The government of Norway has made a big investment in the Ukrainian Navy. They will give NOK 2.7 billion, which is around $241 million, to help Ukraine‘s naval forces.
This money will be used for several things. It will help protect people in Ukraine from attacks and also pay for operations to remove mines from the area. The training of Ukrainian soldiers will also be funded with this investment.
The main goal of this investment is to make Ukraine’s navy stronger in the Black Sea, which is a very important area strategically. This will allow Ukraine to better defend its population and infrastructure against Russian naval attacks. It will also help keep grain exports safe and clear mines from the area.
According to Norway’s Ministry of Defense, this investment is necessary because Ukraine needs more support to stop Russian Naval Forces in the Black Sea in the future.
