Protests Continue on Rustaveli Avenue
Today marks the 21st day of protests on Rustaveli Avenue. Protesters have been holding marches at various locations in Tbilisi, with all groups gathering on Rustaveli Avenue at 20:00.
Different Groups March Through City Streets
Several groups joined the protests today. Former fellows of European funds marched from the Ministry of Education to the Parliament. A “March of Diversity” was held from the First Republic Square to the Parliament, and a group of teachers demonstrated from the Ministry of Education.
Traffic Restricted on Rustaveli Avenue
As the protests continue, traffic has been restricted on Rustaveli Avenue. The street remains closed off due to the large number of protesters.
