**US Sanctions Coming, Says UNM Leader**

Levan Bezhashvili, leader of the “United National Movement”, says the US is getting ready to impose financial sanctions on key people in Georgia.

These sanctions will target Bidzina Ivanishvili’s family members and business friends. Government officials who have been using diplomatic and service passports will also be affected.

Bezhashvili sees this as a sign that Western countries, including Europe and the US, support the Georgian people‘s fight for a European future.
