**Germany and Ukraine Strengthen Defense Partnership**
Ukraine has signed a deal with Rheinmetall, a German company, to buy artillery propellant charge modules. This is part of a bigger plan to make Ukraine’s own weapons in the country.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense ordered 155mm artillery propellant charge modules from Rheinmetall. These modules are worth around €9 million and will be delivered in January 2025. They will help Ukraine build its defense capabilities against Russia.
**Long-term Partnership**
This deal shows how deep Germany’s Rheinmetall is working with Ukraine to make long-term defense plans. The company has become one of the most important partners for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
Rheinmetall said that it is now Ukraine’s biggest defense industry partner, thanks to its extensive deliveries and support services to the country.
**Deeper Cooperation**
Last June, Rheinmetall and Ukraine signed a deal at a conference in Berlin to work together more closely. This agreement aims to find new areas where they can cooperate deeper on defense issues.
