**US Warns Georgia About Its Path**
The US Helsinki Commission is concerned about the direction of Georgia’s government. Recently, Georgia’s Prime Minister visited the president of Iran and helped strengthen economic ties between the two countries. There are also reports that Iranian groups supported “Georgian Dream” by spreading negative messages about the West. Additionally, Georgia signed a deal with China to build a deep-water port, which is part of China’s global development project.

The US Helsinki Commission warns that if “Georgian Dream” takes power, it will turn Georgia into a place where Russia, China, and Iran can exert their influence. The commission believes that this would be bad for Georgia and the world.
