**Council of Europe Urges Dialogue in Georgia**
The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, called on all forces in Georgia to engage in a dialogue. This is to protect and respect democratic principles.
Berset stated that democracy cannot exist when there is constant confrontation. He believes that polarization undermines democratic processes in Georgia.
He emphasized that both the majority and opposition forces must open a dialogue. The Council of Europe is ready to help facilitate this dialogue. Berset suggested using mechanisms to build trust and confidence, but ultimately it is up to the Georgian people and institutions to revive democracy.
**Involving All Groups**
Berset stressed the importance of involving all minorities, civil society, and other groups in the dialogue process. He believes that a democratic Georgia should include everyone.
