**PM Kobakhidze Offers to Discuss Law on Transparency**
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the government is ready to discuss any concerns about the country‘s Law on Transparency.
Kobakhidze spoke at a briefing today, where he mentioned meeting with Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe. The government expressed its openness to discussing the law and any potential issues with it.
“We are open to discussions,” Kobakhidze said. “We had these discussions during the process of adopting the law, and even after its adoption.”
If someone can prove that there is something wrong with the Law on Transparency, Kobakhidze said the government will be ready to talk about it. He also offered to work together with the Council of Europe to find a solution.
