**Poland Helps Ukraine Clear Mines with New Technologies**
Ukraine has a big problem. One of the largest areas in the world is contaminated with mines and explosives left over from war. This makes it hard for people to live and work safely.
To help, Poland gave $609,000 to support mine-clearing efforts in Ukraine. The money will be used to test new technologies like drones and service dogs trained to find mines.
The UN Development Program (UNDP) is working with the Polish government and other partners to clear mines and make areas safe again. They are also helping people who were hurt by mines and raising awareness about the danger of explosives.
Some of the money will be used to train more dogs like the 16 service dogs already helping in Mykolaiv Oblast. These dogs can help find mines, making it safer for workers to clear them.
**Poland Shows Support**
Piotr Łukasiewicz, the Chargé d‘Affaires at the Polish Embassy in Ukraine, said that Poland is committed to helping Ukraine stay safe and progress despite the war with Russia. He added that Poland has been supporting Ukraine since the start of the conflict.
**New Technologies Being Tested**
Ukrainian developers have created a new machine called MP.5100 that can neutralize all types of mines by destroying or detonating them in the soil. The machine can operate for at least four hours on a single tank of fuel and is controlled remotely from up to 350 meters away.
