**Seven Killed, 34 Injured in Russian Strikes Across Ukraine**
On December 20, a series of Russian strikes across Ukraine resulted in the deaths of seven people and injuries to 34 others. The attacks targeted civilian infrastructure in multiple cities.
**Kyiv Hit Hard**
In Kyiv, one person was killed and 10 were injured as a result of morning missile strikes. The city suffered significant damage. Ukraine’s Air Force confirmed that all five ballistic missiles directed at the city were intercepted.
**Other Areas Affected**
The city of Kherson faced a large-scale attack, resulting in two fatalities and 10 injuries. In Donetsk Oblast, about four people were killed across three locations. Three more people were injured in Kryvyi Rih, including a 15-year-old girl who was hurt in a missile strike on a residential building.
**Ukrainian Air Force Successes**
Ukraine’s Air Force intercepted 40 out of 65 Shahed-type drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, along with five ballistic missiles. Twenty more drones were reported as lost across Ukraine.
**Military Gain**
The destruction of costly radar equipment could improve conditions for Ukrainian air attacks, according to the military. Only 10 operational radars remain, a significant drop from previous numbers.
